Uncle Bernard was the last of my grandfather's generation and unfortunately he died at the age of 98 just after christmas in 2002. The Wardle family research is based on my second cousin David (Uncle Bernard's son) and my dad's work, and I'm just transferring up sections of it as I get the time. It's hard enough trying to get someone to remember facts from ninety years ago, but even harder to find things out when there is no one to ask.
I have only published one "line" from the Wardle family tree (my grandfathers), although few relatives have been traced outside of Northamptonshire or Leicestershire. Overnight the Brentnall branch bloomed thanks to the link made by Glen Wright. Feel free to email me and I'll put you in touch.
