My great-grandfather, Albert, was the fourth of 10 children, whose father was James Wardle, a lay preacher at the Baptist church in Kegworth. James Wardle married Frances Hardy on 9-Feb-1861 (Frances Hardy, born 1841 in Kegworth (or Chester-Le-Street?) died 29-Nov-1920). Their children:
James Wardle's father was John Wardle (b1810).
Harriett and Fanny were married in the Baptist Church in Kegworth, which probably explains why there's more detail about them and their children. Copying the information out from the family tree software onto Planet Dan, I recognise names that I've seen on photos on display in the spare bedroom (esp. Sam Wilders and I think James Wardle or John Wardle with a long white beard). Maybe coming soon...

If a date is close to one you're trying to connect to, or you spot something that doesn't tally, please let me know. I'm not that impressed with the merge function on my dad's family treesoftware, and particularly for older ancestors with less information, I can see duplicates appearing in his tree.
